The Green Bay Packers could not have had a hotter start to the 2025 NFL season, beating the Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders in their first two games of the year.

They followed that up with a surprising loss to the Cleveland Browns and a tie against the Dallas Cowboys, calling those first two wins into question.

While the Packers won all of their games leading up to their Week 9 loss against the Carolina Panthers, there were still some questions about their standing as Super Bowl contenders.

Their defense has been mostly strong, thanks to Micah Parsons and his new Packers teammates that he’s helped elevate, but the offense leaves a lot to be desired, which Jordan Love talked about via Matt Schneidman’s latest article on “The Athletic.”

“I think it’s inconsistent,” Love said of his big-picture offensive assessment. “I think we’ve had games where we’ve played very well, put up a lot of points, and we’ve had games where we have not put up enough points. Those are the games that you lose. It’s just inconsistent.”

As Love mentioned, the offense has been inconsistent all season.

They’ve had boom games, as evidenced by their 40-point outing against the Cowboys and a 35-point performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

However, they’ve also had poor games, like their 13-point showing against the Panthers or their 10-point outing against the Cleveland Browns.

Fans go into every week wondering what version of the Packers they’re going to get that week, especially with the offense, which has been especially shaky.

It doesn’t help that they’ve struggled with offensive line injuries all year, and Tucker Kraft’s season-ending injury isn’t helping anything, either.

The Packers’ offense is going to face some trials over the next few weeks, starting with their Week 10 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Does this team have what it takes to defeat one of the best teams in the league?

We’ll soon find out.
