The Atlanta Falcons have built a solid foundation at running back with Bijan Robinson anchoring the position.
Robinson provides the dynamic playmaking ability that makes him an every-down threat, giving the team confidence in their primary option.
However, depth remains crucial in the NFL, and the Falcons recognized an opportunity to strengthen their backfield.
The team made that move official Tuesday by signing Jashaun Corbin from the UFL’s San Antonio Brahmas.
“BREAKING: The Atlanta Falcons are signing @XFLBrahmas RB Jashaun Corbin, per league source,” James Larsen of Pro Football Newsroom reported. “Corbin led the UFL in rushing yards (514), with 4 TD’s to his name. Was one of the most electric playmakers in Payton Pardee’s offense. First official UFL to NFL signing in 2025.”

The addition brings another versatile weapon to a position group that values multiple skill sets.
Corbin’s journey to Atlanta makes his signing even more remarkable.
The 24-year-old started the season buried on the depth chart as San Antonio’s third-string running back.
Despite his team managing just one victory all season, Corbin emerged as a standout performer who couldn’t be ignored.
His statistical dominance tells the story of a player ready for the next level.
Corbin’s 514 rushing yards came on 97 carries, producing an impressive 5.3 yards per attempt that ranked second among qualifying backs.
He added four rushing touchdowns while contributing 18 receptions for 138 yards through the air.
The versatility extends to special teams, where Corbin returned 11 kicks for 252 yards.
Perhaps most importantly for NFL evaluators, he fumbled just once during his breakout campaign, demonstrating the ball security that teams demand.
Corbin will join the Falcons at training camp with a legitimate opportunity to earn a roster spot and contribute immediately.
